Julie Hoy is a songwriter, singer/musician, author, storyteller, humorist and inspirational speaker. She inspires audiences both nationally and internationally.
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Julie has been playing guitar, writing music and performing most of her life. She has decades of experience as a recording artist producer and performer. She is also an inspiring presenter in a variety of settings with a wide range of age groups. (concerts with storytelling, faculty retreats, women's retreats, men's retreats, priest and seminarian groups, senior class retreats, classroom visits and school assemblies Pre-K through high school and beyond. Julie is a composer with Oregon Catholic Press. In 2011 her Mass of Simplicity, written for the Catholic Church, was approved by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and published. Julie also has an extensive discography of original songs of faith and in 2010 released her first book, Could I Paint the Sky?. Julie is truly a servant of God. She has a heart for giving and is called to raise money and awareness for those in need. In 2001 Julie helped to form the non profit organization, Friends of Pimpollo, and works closely with under served children and adults in southern Mexico.
